🏁 A Humble Start with a Big Dream

Founder Ashwin Mahalingam began his journey as a freelance sports coach, laying the foundation for what would grow into a premier multi-sport academy. His passion for training young athletes in basketball, skating, and athletics sparked the birth of OTO COACH.

🏠 The Birth of OTO COACH

OTO COACH was officially named and registered as a company. The main center opened at Crescent School, Thousand Lights, Nungambakkam, offering coaching in basketball, skating, rollball, and athletics.
  • From a dream to a registered name – the OTO legacy begins.

🔁 Resilience Through the Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic brought unexpected challenges. OTO COACH swiftly transitioned to online fitness training, ensuring students continued to stay active and healthy from home.
  • Adapting with strength, coaching with heart.

💪 A Grand Comeback & New Sports Added

After a long pause, OTO COACH relaunched stronger than ever—adding football, archery, kickboxing, and fitness to its offerings.
Milestone: Coach Ashwin Mahalingam became the First Certified Ice Skating Coach in Tamil Nadu, certified by the Ice Skating Association of India.

🏅 Certifications, Leadership & National Recognition

Coach Ashwin became the First SAI-Certified Sports Massage Therapist in Tamil Nadu with an A+ score.
He was appointed President of Chengalpet District Rollball Association and successfully conducted a National Rollball Event in the presence of Minister T.M. Anbarasan.

🌐 Taking OTO Global

Coach Ashwin was invited to coach an International Ice Skating Camp in Phuket, Thailand, working alongside Russian coaches. This marked OTO COACH’s first step into global sports training.

🇵🇭 Coaching at the Asian Rollball Championship

Coach Ashwin proudly coached the Philippine National Rollball Team for the Asian Rollball Championship in Quezon City, Philippines, elevating OTO COACH’s profile on the continental stage.
